“Filming is the art of drawing with light” This quote highlights the importance of light in filming. Light is not only limited to enlightening objects, it also involves the aesthetic and visual composition . With all that a visual piece of art full of dramatic and expressive power is created. However, to do so, one must learn several artistic tools in addition to the technical knowledge of equipment such us types of lights and their characteristics and effects be that inside a studio or outside it. This course is designed to deal with the fundamental rules and concepts of internal and external lighting.
